Press and hold Shift, then press the hyphen (-) key
On most keyboards, the underscore is on the same key as the hyphen
Use the on-screen keyboard if your physical keyboard is not working
If your keyboard layout is different, check the key next to 0 or the top row for the underscore symbol
On some laptops, you may need to use Fn with the correct key if the keyboard has special layouts
