On a computer, highlight the text you want to copy
Press Ctrl+C on Windows or Command+C on Mac
Click where you want to paste on Facebook
Press Ctrl+V on Windows or Command+V on Mac
On a phone or tablet, press and hold the text
Tap Copy
Tap the Facebook text box
Press and hold, then tap Paste
To cut text, highlight it first
Press Ctrl+X on Windows or Command+X on Mac
On mobile, use the Cut option if available
Paste the cut text into the Facebook text box using the paste steps above
