Log in to Axis Bank Internet Banking or the Axis Mobile app
Check for any account closure or service request option in the support or requests section
Download the account closure form from the Axis Bank website if available
Fill in the required details in the closure form
Clear all pending dues, loans, EMIs, and negative balances
Transfer or withdraw the remaining account balance
Remove or cancel linked services such as debit card, net banking, UPI, standing instructions, and auto-debits
Submit the closure request through the bank’s online request system if enabled
If online closure is not available, visit the nearest Axis Bank branch with the required documents
Carry your passbook, cheque book, debit card, and valid ID proof if required
Request confirmation of account closure from the bank after submission
Keep the closure acknowledgment or reference number for tracking
