Turn off the oven and let it cool completely
Remove oven racks, trays, and any loose items
Scrape out loose food debris and crumbs
Mix a baking soda paste with water
Spread the paste on the oven interior, avoiding heating elements and vents
Leave the paste on overnight or for several hours
Wipe away the dried paste with a damp cloth
Spray vinegar on any remaining residue to help lift it
Scrub stubborn spots with a non-scratch sponge or soft brush
Clean the oven door glass with baking soda paste or a glass-safe cleaner
Wash the racks separately with warm soapy water or soak them in the sink
Rinse all surfaces with a clean damp cloth
Dry the oven interior and racks completely
Reinstall the racks and trays
Run the oven empty for a short time if needed to remove any lingering moisture or odor
