Turn off the oven and let it cool completely
Remove oven racks and trays
Put on gloves
Mix warm water with dish soap or baking soda and water
Apply the cleaning solution to greasy areas
Let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes
Scrub with a non-abrasive sponge or cloth
Use a plastic scraper for stuck-on grease
Wipe away residue with a damp cloth
Rinse and dry the oven interior
Clean the racks separately in hot soapy water
Reinstall the racks after they are dry
Repeat if needed for heavy grease buildup
