Make a paste of baking soda and water
Spread the paste on the oven interior, avoiding heating elements
Let the paste sit for several hours or overnight
Spray or wipe the interior with vinegar or warm water to loosen residue
Scrub stubborn spots with a non-abrasive sponge or cloth
Clean the oven racks separately with warm soapy water
Rinse and dry the racks thoroughly
Wipe away any remaining cleaner from the oven interior
Dry the oven completely
Replace the racks
Run the oven briefly if needed to remove any remaining moisture or odor
