Remove the oven shelves and let them cool completely

Fill a bathtub, large sink, or tub liner with hot water

Add dish soap or a cup of baking soda to the water

Submerge the shelves and let them soak for several hours or overnight

Scrub with a non-abrasive sponge, brush, or old toothbrush

Use baking soda paste on stubborn grease and burnt-on spots

Rinse thoroughly with clean water

Dry completely with a towel or air dry before reinstalling

For heavy buildup, repeat the soak and scrub process

Avoid steel wool or harsh abrasives on coated shelves
