Open the Google app or Gemini app
Tap your profile picture
Go to Settings
Select Gemini
Turn off Gemini or disable Gemini app access if available
On Android, open Settings
Tap Apps
Find Gemini
Tap Disable or Uninstall updates if Disable is not available
On Google Workspace, ask your administrator to turn off Gemini features in Admin console
In Chrome, remove Gemini-related extensions if installed
In Google account settings, turn off Gemini activity or related AI features if shown
On mobile, set a different default assistant if Gemini is the current default
If Gemini is built into your device, use the device’s app permissions or default assistant settings to stop it from launching
