Remove all bedding, pillows, and accessories from the mattress
Open the air valve completely
If the mattress has a built-in pump, switch it to deflate mode
If using a separate pump, attach it to the deflation port if available
Press down gently on the mattress to help push air out
Start rolling or folding the mattress from the end farthest from the valve
Keep pressing out air as you roll or fold
Make sure all air is expelled before finishing
Close the valve once fully deflated
Fold the mattress neatly for storage
Store it in a dry place after deflation
