Open the device’s Settings app
Tap Passwords & accounts, Accounts, Users & accounts, or Accounts and backup
Select the Google account you want to remove
Tap Remove account
Confirm the removal if prompted
If needed, enter your device PIN, pattern, or password
Restart the device if the account still appears
On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings, tap Mail or Accounts, select the Google account, then tap Delete Account
On a Chromebook, go to Settings, select Accounts, choose the Google account, then remove it
On a browser, sign out of the Google account and remove it from the device’s saved accounts if necessary
