Open the Facebook app or website and log in to your account
Go to Settings and privacy
Select Settings
Open Accounts Center
Tap Personal details
Select Account ownership and control
Choose Deactivation or deletion
Select the Facebook account you want to delete
Tap Delete account
Follow the on-screen instructions
Enter your password if prompted
Confirm the deletion request
Download any data you want to keep before deleting
Wait for the deletion grace period to end if you want the deletion to be permanent
Do not log back in during the grace period if you want to keep the deletion active
