Open the Instagram app or website and log in to the account
Go to your profile
Tap the menu icon
Select Settings and privacy
Go to Account Center
Tap Personal details
Tap Account ownership and control
Select Deactivation or deletion
Choose the Instagram account you want to delete
Select Delete account
Follow the prompts to confirm deletion
Enter your password if required
Submit the deletion request
If needed, remove the business account from Meta Business Suite or linked Facebook accounts separately
