Open a web browser and go to Instagram’s Delete Your Account page
Log in to the account you want to delete
Select a reason for deleting your account
Re-enter your password
Click or tap Permanently delete my account
Wait 30 days before the account is fully deleted
Do not log back in during the 30-day period if you want deletion to continue
Download your data first if you want to keep photos, messages, or account information
Remove the Instagram app from your device after submitting the deletion request
