Open Instagram and go to your profile
Tap the highlight you want to keep
Tap More
Select Edit Highlight
Make sure the stories you want are selected
Tap Done
To keep stories available for highlights, turn on Save to Archive
Go to Settings and privacy
Tap Archive and downloading
Turn on Save story to archive
If a highlight disappears, check that the story is still in your archive
Avoid deleting the story from your archive if you want it to stay available for future highlights
