How To Delete Pages In Word?

Open the Word document.

Go to the page you want to delete.

Turn on formatting marks (Home tab → ¶) to see page breaks and section breaks.

If the page is separated by a page break: select the page break marker and press Delete.

If the page is separated by a section break: select the section break marker and press Delete.

If the page is blank because of extra spacing: select the text/paragraph on the page above and adjust spacing (Home tab → Line and Paragraph Spacing → Remove/Set spacing).

If the page contains content: select the content on that page and press Delete.

If deleting a section changes layout: check headers/footers and page numbering (Insert tab → Header/Footer; Page Number → Format Page Numbers) and update as needed.

If the page is still present: remove extra paragraph marks (¶) on the page and the preceding page (select and press Delete).
