How to Delete Shortcuts from Desktop?
Right-click the shortcut on the desktop
Select Delete
Click Yes if prompted
Press the Delete key after selecting the shortcut
Drag the shortcut to the Recycle Bin
Empty the Recycle Bin if you want to remove it permanently
On Mac, drag the alias or shortcut to the Trash
On Mac, right-click the shortcut and choose Move to Trash
On Mac, empty the Trash to delete it permanently
