How to Hide a Icon on Desktop?

Right-click the desktop icon

Select Delete, if you want to remove it from the desktop

Select Cut, then paste it into another folder

Right-click the desktop and choose View

Uncheck Show desktop icons to hide all desktop icons

Use a folder and move the icon inside it

Change the icon’s properties to Hidden if supported

On Windows, open File Explorer

Go to View

Enable Hidden items to hide items marked as hidden

On macOS, move the file or shortcut off the Desktop

On macOS, use Terminal to hide a file with a dot prefix

On Linux, rename the file or shortcut to start with a dot

Use third-party desktop organization tools if needed
