Exit Steam completely
Open Steam and go to the game’s Library page
Right-click the game and select Properties
Go to the General or Updates section and disable Steam Cloud for that game
Close Steam again
Delete the local save files from the game’s save folder on your PC
Open Steam and launch the game once to let it create a fresh local save if needed
Exit the game
Delete the game’s cloud files from Steam’s remote storage page if available
Open the Steam Cloud conflict prompt, if it appears, and choose the option to keep local files or delete cloud files as needed
Re-enable Steam Cloud only after the unwanted saves are removed
If needed, remove cloud data through Steam’s remote storage management page for the game
Verify the cloud save is gone by relaunching the game and checking for sync prompts
