Open the Messages app
Tap and hold the conversation or message you want to delete
Select any additional messages if needed
Tap Delete or the trash icon
Confirm Delete
To delete a full conversation, open Messages
Tap and hold the conversation thread
Tap Delete

To delete multiple conversations, tap and hold one thread
Select other threads
Tap Delete
Confirm Delete
To delete all messages in a conversation, open the thread
Tap the menu icon
Choose Delete conversation or Delete messages
Confirm Delete
To delete messages in other messaging apps, open the app
Tap and hold the message or conversation
Tap Delete
Confirm Delete
