Restart the phone
Press and hold the Power button
Tap Restart or Reboot
If Restart is unavailable, power off the phone
Wait 10 to 30 seconds
Turn the phone back on
Remove the battery if your phone has a removable battery
Reinsert the battery
Check for stuck volume buttons
Make sure no buttons are being held during startup
Uninstall recently installed apps
Remove any suspicious or problematic apps
Clear the cache partition if your device supports it
Check for system updates
Perform a factory reset only if needed
Contact the device manufacturer or carrier if Safe Mode remains on
