Empty the water tank and remove any capsule
Place a container under the coffee outlet
Fill the water tank with Nespresso descaling solution and water as directed on the bottle
Turn on the machine
Enter descaling mode according to your machine model
Start the descaling cycle
Let the solution run through the machine into the container
Repeat the cycle if your model requires it
Empty and rinse the water tank thoroughly
Fill the water tank with fresh water
Run one or more rinse cycles with fresh water
Exit descaling mode
Empty the drip tray and used container
Wipe the machine clean
