Open your computer’s **Task Scheduler**
Go to **Task Scheduler Library**
Disable any tasks related to **Adobe** (e.g., **Adobe Update Task**, **Adobe Acrobat Update**, **AdobeGCInvoker**, **AAM Update**, **ARM Update**)
Open **Services** (Win + R → `services.msc`)
Disable services related to Adobe updates (e.g., **Adobe Acrobat Update Service**, **Adobe Genuine Monitor Service**)
Open **Adobe Acrobat/Reader**
Go to **Edit** → **Preferences**
Select **Updaters** (or **General** → **Updates**)
Uncheck **Automatically check for updates** / **Automatically download and install updates**
In **Adobe Creative Cloud** (if installed), open the app
Go to **Settings** (gear icon)
Disable **Auto-updates** / **Automatically update apps**
Uninstall update components if present:
Uninstall **Adobe Updater** / **Adobe Acrobat Update** / **Adobe Genuine Monitor** (if listed in **Apps & features**)
Remove Adobe update scheduled tasks again if they reappear
Block update domains in your firewall/DNS (if you use one), such as Adobe update and licensing endpoints
If using a managed environment, enforce policies via your organization’s admin tools (e.g., enterprise Adobe update settings)
