How To Make Chocolate Chip Cookies?

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)

Line baking sheets with parchment paper

Whisk together 2 1/4 cups (280 g) all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and 1/2 tsp salt

In a separate bowl, beat 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter (softened) and 3/4 cup (150 g) packed brown sugar until combined

Beat in 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar until smooth

Beat in 2 eggs, one at a time

Mix in 2 tsp vanilla extract

Stir in dry ingredients until just combined

Fold in 2 cups (340 g) chocolate chips

Scoop 1 to 2 tbsp portions onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart

Bake 9–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden and centers look slightly underbaked

Cool on the baking sheet 5 minutes

Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely
