Open the Facebook app or website
Go to Menu
Tap Settings & privacy
Tap Settings
Tap Notifications
Choose the notification category you want to change
Turn off the notification type you do not want
Repeat for other notification categories as needed
On mobile, you can also go to your phone’s Settings
Tap Notifications
Find Facebook
Turn off Allow Notifications
On desktop, open Facebook settings
Go to Notifications
Disable the notification options you want
Save changes if prompted
