How To Disinfect A Toothbrush?

Rinse the toothbrush thoroughly with hot water after use

Soak the bristles in an antibacterial mouthwash for a few minutes

Use a toothbrush sanitizer or UV sanitizer if available

Run the toothbrush through the dishwasher only if the manufacturer says it is safe

Soak the toothbrush in 3% hydrogen peroxide for about 10 minutes

Rinse well with clean water after disinfecting

Store the toothbrush upright and let it air-dry completely

Keep toothbrushes separated from each other

Replace the toothbrush after illness or every 3 to 4 months
