Apply a disinfectant safe for stainless steel

Wipe the surface with a clean cloth
Rinse again if the product label requires it
Dry completely to prevent water spots
Use diluted white vinegar for light sanitizing if appropriate
Avoid bleach, steel wool, and abrasive cleaners
Test any cleaner on a small hidden area first
