How to Do a Crawfish Boil?

Gather live crawfish, water, salt, a large boil pot, burner, basket, seasoning, lemons, garlic, onions, potatoes, corn, and sausage

Purge the crawfish in clean water if needed

Rinse the crawfish thoroughly

Fill the pot with water

Add seasoning, salt, lemons, garlic, onions, and other aromatics

Bring the water to a boil

Add potatoes and cook until partially tender

Add sausage and corn

Add the crawfish

Return the pot to a boil

Boil until the crawfish are bright red and cooked through

Turn off the heat

Let the crawfish soak in the seasoned liquid

Drain the pot

Dump the crawfish and sides onto a table or tray

Serve with melted butter, extra seasoning, and lemon wedges
