Gather required details for yourself (sender):
Your account number (or IBAN if required)
Your bank’s routing/SWIFT details (if requested)
Your address and contact information (as required by your bank)
Confirm transfer currency and amount
Confirm transfer speed and any cutoff times for the bank
Verify fees and who pays them (sender pays all, shared fees, or recipient pays)
Provide the recipient details to your bank through:
Online banking wire transfer form, or
In-branch request, or
Phone request with bank verification
Review all entered information for accuracy (name, account/IBAN, routing/SWIFT, currency, amount)
Submit the wire transfer request
Save the confirmation/reference number and any receipt
Track the transfer status using your bank’s tracking tools or reference number
If needed, contact the recipient’s bank to confirm receipt and expected credit date
Keep records of all documentation and confirmations for your records
