How to Do Columns in Google Docs?

Open your Google Docs document

Select the text you want to format, or place your cursor where you want the columns to start

Click Format

Hover over Columns

Choose the number of columns you want

To change column settings, click Format

Hover over Columns

Click More options

Adjust spacing and line between columns if needed

Click Apply

To add a column break, click Insert

Click Break

Click Column break
