Open the IRCTC website or IRCTC Rail Connect app
Log in with your IRCTC username and password
Go to the Book Ticket or Train Ticket section
Enter source station and destination station
Select journey date
Choose the quota as Current Booking, if available
Search for trains
Select the desired train and class
Check seat availability under current booking or current availability
Enter passenger details
Add boarding station if needed
Select payment method
Complete payment
Save or download the ticket after booking
Check PNR and booking status in your IRCTC account or SMS confirmation
