Determine the scale factor
Draw a line from the center through each point of the figure
Measure the distance from the center to each point
Multiply each distance by the scale factor
Mark the new points at the scaled distances
Connect the new points in the same order as the original figure
Check that corresponding angles stay the same
Check that corresponding side lengths are proportional
