How To Do Hanging Indent On Word?

Step 1

Select the text you want to format

Step 2

Go to the Home tab

Step 3

Click the Paragraph dialog box launcher

Step 4

Under Indentation, find Special

Step 5

Choose Hanging

Step 6

Set the indent size if needed

Step 7

Click OK

Step 8

For a ruler method, turn on the ruler

Step 9

Select the text

Step 10

Drag the bottom triangle on the ruler to set the hanging indent

Step 11

Leave the top triangle at the left margin
