Start with the laces threaded through the bottom eyelets from the outside in
Make both lace ends even
Cross the left lace over the right lace
Thread each lace end through the next eyelet up from the inside out
Repeat the crossing pattern up the shoe
Keep the lace tension even on both sides
Pull the laces snug after each cross
Continue until you reach the top eyelets
Thread the lace ends through the top eyelets if you want a tighter fit
Tie a knot or bow at the top
Tuck in any excess lace if needed
