Remove old nail polish with remover
Wash hands thoroughly
Trim nails to desired length
File nails into shape
Soak fingertips in warm water for a few minutes
Push back cuticles gently
Remove dead skin around nails if needed
Buff nail surface lightly
Clean nails again to remove dust and oil
Apply a base coat
Apply two thin coats of nail polish
Let each coat dry completely
Apply a top coat
Clean any polish from skin around nails
Apply hand cream or cuticle oil
Let nails dry fully before using hands
