Press PrtScn to copy the entire screen to the clipboard
Press Alt + PrtScn to copy the active window to the clipboard
Press Windows + PrtScn to save a full-screen screenshot to Pictures > Screenshots
Press Windows + Shift + S to open Snipping Tool and select a screen area
Open Paint, Word, or another app, then press Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot
On some laptops, press Fn + PrtScn instead of PrtScn
On some keyboards, use Fn + Windows + PrtScn or Fn + Alt + PrtScn if needed
