Open the app where you want to type
Tap the text field
Tap the microphone icon on the keyboard
Speak clearly
Tap the microphone icon again to stop dictation
Check and edit the text if needed
If you do not see the microphone icon, go to Settings
Tap General
Tap Keyboard
Turn on Enable Dictation
Make sure your iPhone is connected to the internet if required
