Open Google Maps
Tap your profile picture or initials (top right)
Tap Offline maps
Tap Select your own map
Drag and resize the map area
Tap Download
Wait for the download to complete
To manage downloads: go to Profile picture/initials → Offline maps
To update: open Offline maps and download updates if prompted
To delete: Offline maps → tap the downloaded map → Delete
