Open the official Minecraft website or launcher
Sign in with your Microsoft account
Open the Minecraft Launcher
Select Minecraft Java Edition or Minecraft for Windows
Open the Installations tab
Click New Installation
Find and select version 1.18
Save the installation
Select the 1.18 installation from the Play menu
Click Play to download and launch Minecraft 1.18
