Use the download option from the story archive for past stories
Open the story in Archive
Tap the three dots
Select Save photo or Save video
Use a screen recorder if the story is someone else’s and download is not available
Open the story
Start screen recording on your device
Stop recording after the story ends
Use a trusted third-party story downloader if permitted
Copy the story link if the tool requires it
Paste the link into the downloader
Download the file
Check your device’s Downloads or Photos folder after saving
