Open your Canvas course
Go to the page, module, assignment, or media item containing the video
Click the video to open it
Look for a download button, menu, or three-dot icon on the video player
If a download option appears, select it
If the video is embedded from a service like Panopto, Kaltura, or Vimeo, open the video in its original player and look for a download option there
If no download option is visible, check the course files area or media library if your instructor shared the video there
If the video is in a file link, open the file and use the browser download option if available
If downloading is disabled, contact your instructor or course support for access
If you have permission and the video is in a browser player, try right-clicking the video or using the player’s settings menu to save it
If the video is available in Canvas Studio, open the Studio video and use the download option if enabled by the owner
If the video is recorded lecture content, check whether your institution provides a transcript or downloadable recording link
