Open WhatsApp and view the status you want to save
Use your phone’s file manager to go to Internal Storage
Open the WhatsApp folder
Open the Media folder
Open the .Statuses folder
Copy the status file to another folder before it disappears
If the .Statuses folder is hidden, enable hidden files in your file manager
On some phones, use a status saver app from the app store
On iPhone, use screen recording or a screenshot if allowed
Make sure you have permission before saving or sharing someone else’s status
