Open your Excel workbook
Go to the Insert tab
Click Shapes
Select a line shape
Click and drag on the worksheet to draw the line
Hold Shift while dragging to keep the line straight
Use the Shape Format tab to change the line color, weight, or style
Drag the line’s endpoints to adjust its length or angle
Right-click the line to access more formatting options
