Draw a small spiral in the center of the page
Add a few short curved lines around the spiral to form inner petals
Draw larger curved “C” shaped petals around the inner spiral
Layer more petals outside the first layer, spacing them slightly apart
Make each outer petal look like a rounded teardrop or heart shape
Add small overlapping lines at the base of the petals to show depth
Refine the petal edges with smooth, gentle curves
Add a few thin lines inside some petals for texture (optional)
Draw a short stem extending downward from the rose
Add two simple leaf shapes on the stem
Add leaf veins with 1–2 curved lines
Erase any rough guide lines
Darken the final outlines and shade lightly if desired
