Draw the eye shape (almond or slightly rounded rectangle)
Add the upper lid line darker and thicker than the lower lid line
Sketch a light guideline for the center point of the eye
Draw the iris as an oval inside the eye
Place the pupil slightly toward the side you want the gaze to go
Add a small circle for the pupil (keep it smaller than the iris)
Draw the iris highlight area (leave white space or lightly erase)
Add 2–4 small highlight shapes inside the iris (small for anime-style)
Add iris shading lines or curved streaks radiating from the pupil
Darken the iris around the edges, leaving the highlight area lighter
Draw a thin eyelash line on the upper lid (short spikes or a smooth curve)
Add lower lashes lightly (fewer and thinner than upper lashes)
Add inner corner details (small crease or slight line toward the tear duct)
Define the lower lid with a subtle curve and light shadow under it
Shade around the iris and under the upper lid for depth
Add a small reflection line on the lower part of the iris if desired
Add the waterline/tear duct hint at the inner corner
Clean up outlines and erase construction lines
Match both eyes for height, spacing, and iris placement
Adjust thickness of lines for style (thicker upper lid, lighter lower lid)
