Adjust the seat, mirrors, and steering wheel
Press the clutch pedal fully with your left foot
Move the gear lever to neutral
Start the engine
Press the clutch fully again
Select first gear
Release the handbrake
Slowly lift the clutch to the biting point
Gently press the accelerator
Continue releasing the clutch smoothly as the car moves
Keep accelerating gradually
Shift to higher gears by pressing the clutch, changing gear, and releasing the clutch
Downshift by pressing the clutch, changing to a lower gear, and releasing the clutch smoothly
Stop by pressing the brake and clutch together as needed
Shift to neutral when stopped
Apply the handbrake
Turn off the engine
Practice in a safe, open area until comfortable
