Wipe the outside with a dry, lint-free cloth
Let the port air-dry in a dry, well-ventilated place
Use a fan to blow cool air toward the port
Leave it untouched until completely dry
Do not use heat sources
Do not insert cotton swabs, paper, or metal objects
Do not charge the device until the port is fully dry
If liquid exposure was significant, wait longer before trying to charge
If the device shows moisture warnings, follow them before charging
