Open the Messages app
Open the conversation containing the message
Press and hold the message you want to edit
Tap Edit
Make your changes
Tap the checkmark to save
You can edit a sent iMessage within 15 minutes of sending it
You can edit a message up to 5 times
The recipient will see that the message was edited
