Keep pets and people indoors
Remove contaminated clothing
Seal contaminated clothing in a plastic bag
Wash skin with soap and water
Rinse eyes with clean water if exposed
Mix hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and dish soap for skin and fur
Apply the mixture immediately
Rinse thoroughly after a few minutes
Repeat if needed
Use pet-safe skunk odor remover on animals
Wash hard surfaces with vinegar and water
Clean fabrics with detergent and baking soda
Air out rooms and vehicles
Use activated charcoal or odor absorbers
Replace heavily contaminated porous items
Call a veterinarian for pets with eye irritation or severe exposure
