Check whether your Lenovo model supports a backlit keyboard
Look for a keyboard backlight key, often one of the F keys with a keyboard light icon
Press Fn + Spacebar to toggle the keyboard backlight on many Lenovo models
Press Fn + Esc if Fn Lock is enabled and the backlight shortcut is not working
Try the backlight shortcut key alone if your function keys are set to act as media keys
Open Lenovo Vantage and enable or adjust keyboard backlight settings if available
Update Lenovo Hotkeys software and keyboard drivers
Update BIOS and chipset drivers from Lenovo Support
Enter BIOS/UEFI and check for keyboard backlight or hotkey settings
Restart the laptop after changing settings
If the keyboard has no backlight icon and no shortcut works, the model may not support backlighting
