Install VMware Tools or open-vm-tools in the Ubuntu guest
Open Terminal in Ubuntu
Run `sudo apt update`
Run `sudo apt install open-vm-tools open-vm-tools-desktop -y`
Restart Ubuntu
In VMware Fusion, shut down the Ubuntu VM if needed
Open VM settings
Go to Isolation or Advanced settings
Enable copy and paste
Enable drag and drop
Start the VM again
If copy and paste still does not work, reinstall `open-vm-tools-desktop`
If needed, restart the VMware user services inside Ubuntu
Make sure VMware Fusion is updated to the latest version
